About Vancouver Dietitians

Stephanie Dang

Co-Founder & Registered Dietitian

Hello and a warm welcome! My name is Stephanie, and I am a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia, and co-founder of Vancouver Dietitians and CAYA Health Centre.  I completed my dietetics degree with the University of British Columbia, and I have also completed the PCOS Training Course for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

I worked for years as a clinical dietitian at BC Children's & Women's hospital, primarily in gastroenterology and eating disorders. I also worked as a sports dietitian for the Richmond Olympic Oval and Mint Club Athletics helping high performance athletes fuel their performance. I have worked with teams such as Volleyball Canada, UBC Rowing, BC Rugby, BC Speed Skating, Karate BC, Richmond Swim Club, Fusion Soccer Club, and more.

I co-founded Vancouver Dietitians in 2016, focusing my practice on helping people heal their relationship with food, working with folks with eating disorders and disordered eating, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), hormonal imbalances, prenatal & postnatal nutrition, and fueling for sport/sports nutrition. I am also passionate about helping folks with ADHD and OCD with meal planning and nutrition tips.

I believe that health is more than just a number on the scale, and I strive to help people build a positive relationship with food and their bodies through realistic and sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes.  I want to help you find peace with food, and feel good doing it!

In my free time, you can find me trying new restaurants, experimenting in my kitchen, and road biking around the lower mainland! I look forward to meeting you soon!
