Blueberry Lemon Overnight Oats

Although we love a bowl of warm oats, we love how hassle-free a jar of overnight oats is on a busy morning! This is a quick, healthy recipe that you can prepare at the start of your week to make sure your weekdays start off with a filling, nutritious breakfast.

Blueberries + Lemon is truly a match made in heaven, so we decided to add these two tasty ingredients to this overnight oats recipe and it's safe to say, we have found our new favourite flavour combo. If you don't have fresh blueberries available, no problem! You can use frozen blueberries which are just as nutritious as fresh ones contrary to popular belief!


  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • 1 tbsp ground flax

  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds

  • ⅔ cup milk of choice

  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • 1 tsp maple syrup or honey

  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries

  • lemon zest + more chopped almonds for topping


  1. Add the oats, ground flax and almonds to a jar or container.

  2. Add the milk, lemon juice and maple syrup and mix until well combined.

  3. Top with blueberries, lemon zest and chopped almonds.

  4. Store in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
